Our commitment

Over our long investment horizon, sustainability factors have the potential to be significant drivers of risks or opportunities to profitability and shareholder value.

As a patrimonial and engaged investor, GBL believes that responsible investment is key to ensure the best interests for its shareholders and stakeholders.

In that context, sustainability considerations are fundamental to the way GBL conducts business, mainly in its investment activities, but also notably as a company, an employer and a contributor to the communities in which it operates.

GBL is formally committed to the United Nations Global Compact (“UNGC”) initiative since 2018. Adhering to the UNGC and its 10 principles (covering human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption) allowed GBL to cover all general areas that could be impacted by its activities.
